Real Michigan Barnfind - Beautiful 1960 New Yorker - Low Miles - Loaded - Solid

Thank you for pointing that out. I am glad he saved the car from what was probably an obscure auction then to go at such a low price. He had to transport it to his house, probably cleaned it up a lot based on what I usually see at such auctions, checked everything out and provided comprehensive photos and took the effort to get the parts needed to get it running and demonstrate the condition of the engine. What he has done is put some significant effort into it in what appears to be cold weather conditions to ensure this vehicle goes to a good home that it deserves. If he can make a significant profit, that is American capitalism at work and I hope its new buyer gives it all the love it deserves. I hope he does well.

Demonstrate the engine? LOL

that exactly what he didn’t do.

“I only had it running long enough to make sure it does run but haven’t gone past that”

“I will insist it will need to be towed by the buyer”

Yep there is you demonstration, thanks so much! this is some funny stuff here. Thanks for the laugh.

Lighten up Francis. If you have the same number of these cars as I do (5) you are probably just an old curmudgeon like me (I am not as bad though :poke:) and have nothing better to do, besides working endlessly on these old relics, than to argue about nothing really. Hey, the car will likely go to a good home. That is all that matters.

"Matt can you find out where in the Thumb he found it? I am just curious."
-The car came out of a barn (yes, I promise it was actually a dirt floor barn for those of you who think I used the term "barn find" to garner some kind of extra allure) in Ray Twp. Michigan, so more the webbing of the thumb if you want to get anatomically specific :)
I live in the Thumb and have most of my life. I just wondered where you found it. I did google Ray Twp.
Thanks, Scott
