Does anyone know if a fan shroud for a 1965 Imperial 413 will fit a 1965 Newport 383 radiator? The seller indicates that it is a 22" which is correct. Thanks,
Kind of what I thought. Thanks for the feedback.Parts book lists a different pair of numbers for the Imperial 22" rad shroud as compared to C bodies (which are different again than B bodies and A bodies...)
I gave Jim at DMT a sample of the rubber cushions for that shroud, (including a bottom part of the shroud), at a show a couple years ago. Haven't checked if he's producing them yet though.
I could probably come up with another sample if Quirey wants to give it a go, sounds like you are acquainted with him and I'm not. That would be great! I found some that worked from E body clutch pedals I believe, but they were not great.
Quirey (the old Gary Goers) might be a better choice for rubber parts. He is making some 3 speed manual shifter bushings for me. Not sure Jim is really into rubber parts, but has been talking about if for years.
Yeah, I know, but if copcar knows him...................
Will do, it's a little rubber bumper about an inch long, 3/8" wide and the same tall.Send some photos of what you are looking for. Some parts are easier to make than others. Dave
Would you consider selling it?I have a spare 65 383 radiator shroud. Might be missing small parts, but those are easy to make. The 2 main pieces of the shroud are good. I was keeping it as a spare but now my car is done and I no longer need it.
yes. I don't need it anymore.Would you consider selling it?
Please text me at your convenience. I'd be interested. 352-480-9808. Thanks, yes. I don't need it anymore.
Just have to find one that's still flexible enough to remove, two of them crumbled when I tried yesterday. Will do, it's a little rubber bumper about an inch long, 3/8" wide and the same tall.
