Hello Mopar friends,

The small hard plastic hose mounted to the engine and connecting to the fire wall is ancient and cracked etc. and in need of replacement on my 68 H-code. I might as well replace the interior side while I am at it.

Does anyone know the diameter, or better yet, a place to order some of that hose?

Thanks,
Mike

If it's standard vacuum hose, any parts store should have it.

Yeah, I can always give that a try. Although I've never seen it at an auto parts store, maybe it is kept out of site... Perhaps it isn't standard vacuum hose, more like 'line'. Hard plastic, (maybe) I'd say less than 1/8th inch inner diameter...

Most auto supply stores (not necessarily the retail chain stores) usually have rolls of vac hose in the back. Take a piece to match. The thicker-walled it is the better as some of what they might have can be very thin and can collapse under vacuum. Might even opt for some reinforced fuel line in the correcrt size?

Just some thoughts,
