Hey detmatt! And no but I have a non ac version radiator. I thought about having it recored and moving the top neck over, but that could be alot of work! When I purchased my car it had a mix of ac parts and non ac and I'm trying to get it back to complete ac!
Hey I'm looking for carter high step jets that work with the 3 step rods.
I want to keep some spares around and also create a "strip kit". I'm looking for high step jet sizes .089, .098, .0101 and rods 16-160, 16-173.
Thank you in advance!
Hey I wanted to update everyone. The Dorman works perfect and is the same size as the "original" Raybestos. If you need a new brake cable I would order the Dorman C922270.
I might try the dorman but what worries me is that it says it's housing is shorter. The old housing matches the 23.5 spec and that cable is perfect fit!
I'll measure the ones that were newer and see what they measure
I stuck with Raybestos BC92270 and the part numbers were the same on the box.
The inside label of the new ones on the plastic is labeled 78-92270. I don't have the old one to verify if it said that also.
There's no numbers or anything on the cables themselves.
Hey I have a 1964 Imperial and I just re ordered Raybestos BC92270 for the rear parking brake. The original one I installed I must have nicked the cable sheath and spring and it started to stick inside the housing. I thought I better get a new one in case it starts to cause a problem.
Well I...
Hey I was wondering if imperial rear backing plates are the same from 1963 to 1966?
I know the drums are different with the different axle styles, but the interchange manual I have lists the shoes as the same. The book just doesn't list anything about backing plates.
Thank you in advance!
So yes and no lol it's been kind of a battle.
Front rotors off of a 1995 Dodge ram 1500 fit but they have some play and you'll need to put a bearing spacer on the spindle, like a metal ring, and then the rotor fits. The other issue with these rotors is that you need a hub ring so your Rims sit...
Hey thank you so much for your advice! I'll definitely get a look inside the cylinders and see what's going on!
I'll keep an eye out for a strip kit if one ever pops up just to have on hand. Or convert to 2 step rods. You never know with today's gas!
I'll check out my choke too. It functions...
Hey it's 3256s (it's actually in the 1963 service manual)
I'm just looking to build like a "kit". Currently it looks like its running rich, but I may worn out piston rings or valve seals causing oil fouling on the spark plugs. I'm just trying to eliminate as much as possible to get down to the...
