    It's good bye 300

Thanks to you all once again. Check just cleared the bank and now I've sold both my cars. I'm just realizing what an expense owning a car is. Payments, insurance, a place to store it, AAA, plus gas and maintenance. I'll have a lot of money saved for next month anyway (August).

    It's good bye 300

Well I figured it out. In all my years of driving over the years I've put more miles and have owned C bodies longer than any other car. That's really saying something.

68 Newport DDD. Just noticed you're from Manassas, VA. Small world I guess as I'm Manassas too. I live right in downtown on Prince William Street. I have a 67 300 'vert that's in storage in Calverton right now.

    Finally drove my 300 today

Well folks I spoke a bit in haste. The potential buyer my mechanic had lined up (a dealer) has backed out of the deal. So my car's going on eBay over the weekend. It will be funny when it's sold, for the first time since 1972, I'll be without a car

    Finally drove my 300 today

Thanks LocuMob. Strange to see how money can motivate someone. I told my mechanic yesterday that we'd give him some money if he could maybe sell the car for me. He's already come up with a potential buyer. They were supposed to look at the car this afternoon.

    Finally drove my 300 today

Well, it has been about a year buty brother and I got the 300 out of storage and took it for a good ride. It ran really well but after so long not driving the car you really notice how BIG it is. Also, having been sick I really noticed how much weaker I've become. Could hardly move the...

E Yes, we intend to drive the car on Tuesday. Unfortunately I'm still needing to sell my car.like I mentioned it's fully safe and functional. It's just waiting for someone to pick it up and enjoy it's priced at $20 K and with all it's upgrades is well worth it.
