Thanks for all the opinions, I have decided to keep the fury and save up to buy an a body so that I can have both. Now the real task is getting the wife to understand why I need another car lol.
I need some help, I’ve been offered a 70 Dodge Dart swinger for my 67 Plymouth Fury3. I love the fury but I ant something that I can drive a little faster and maybe take to the track on the weekends.
how much would you guys say I can get from my car, and is it worth the trade. Should I hold on...
Here’s my 67 fury III I just got last summer it’ll my first classic c- body. It’s a 383 with ac, power steering. A real big head turner in Colorado. I am in the process of putting a 3.23 sure grip in it this summer, can’t wait till it warms up.
Yeah I e been looking but it’s getting harder to find suregrips with 3.23 gears on it, I’m just going to have to buy a brand new suregrip and put it into my 742 case.
Hey I saw that back in august you stated you had three 742 cases with suregrips. I just picked up a 742 open case with 3.23 gear in it. I was hoping you still had a suregrip to sell or trade for my 67 fury thanks
I know this will be a long shot but ill give it a try. I just picked up an open 742 3.23 third member for my 67 fury. I'm hoping someone has an old sure grip that I can buy and rebuild or is willing to trade for parts. I have an extra 727 transmission in good shape.
I also have some 440...
I figured I could get to 500 safely and without breaking the bank, also it would move the car pretty good. I would like more then that but it seems that when you get to that 600 and above you’re going to start spending a lot more.
I want to keep the car as a street cruiser that just screams...
I’m glad to hear that, so here’s the next question. It’s a 77 bare bones block with the crank. I want to push out 550 ponies out of it with a $5000.00 budget.
what has been done to your 440’s to raise the compression on them to get to that point.? I’ve looked at the 440 source stroker kits and...
I have a 67 Fury 3 convertible with a 383, but I want to see if there will be any problems if I want to swap a 440 into it. Let me know if any of you have heard or had any problems with a swap like that thanks.
Looking for a used 440 with no block problems and still turns. I’m hoping to rebuild the engine for my 67 fury 3, looking around the Denver area thanks.
