    Power Steering Box HELP

Hey folks, Ive just had a front end suspension rebuilt on my 1973 Imperial and I can feel suspension is tied as it should, however there's a free play on the steering wheel. I'm looking to have a good quality Steering Box for my car, but it seems no one has a positive opinion regarding the...

TOO MUCH power steering and brakes

I’d love to have this kind of light steering wheel on my 73 Imperial. Actually I’ve just bought a new power steering pump looking forward to have a lighter steering wheel. My car is at the repair shop for checking the drums locking as I gently touch the brake pedal. I hope I’ll have some update...

To Mod, or Not to Mod, that is the question. What will break at 500hp?

Definitely a stroker is the way to go with a good pair of heads and a cam with around 240@050 will give you between 450hp to 500hp with street manners. Keep it simple. I’d go for 3.73 gears and a 2800 rpm stall and have fun.

    A question of rear ends.

I had my gears changed on my 73 Imperial from 2.76 to 3.91. Huge difference, however it was too much. The car isn’t pleasant to be driven on highways anym. I’m planning to go back to 3.23 or 3.55. Whatever you pick keep in mind to get an assembled rear end or go deep in research for the gear...

Any feedback on a 518 in a Fusey?

I’m planning to have an A518 behind the 440 as well in my 73 imperial as well. As far as I concern JVX has everything to couple the engine and transmission. The crossmember must be modified or custom fabricated and the tunnel might have some “hammer adjustments”. It’s a lot of work. I have to go...

    Power Steering

Thank you for your reply. If I wanted an European firm experience I would have bought a modern European car, LOL. In my car I can't "2-finger twirling", but what I'm looking for is a 1 finger twirling steering wheel. I'll keep searching. Stay safe.

    Power Steering

I have a 1973 Chrysler Imperial and the steering wheel is not as light as I’d like to. I’ve already had all parts checked and a new steering box a a new power steering pump. I can assure you that the system is working as it should. What I’d like to have is something like the 60’s Ford...
