    Trim clips

I'm guessing 66 Fury uses a wider belt molding if a 1/2" clip fits inside. 65 Fury has a 3/8" wide belt molding.

They should fit the belt molding but I think you will have to drill the holes in your door to 1/4" since they say they fit a 1/4" hole. Your factory holes are 3/16"

Brakes creaking? What's the spring the encircles the drum for ? 57 Belvedere

When I installed mine, I clipped the two ends together on the spring, fit the spring in the groove on the bottom and just kinda stretch rolled it up and over the top. Wasn't too hard of a project.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/234770526589?_ Here are some black plastic ones that look correct also but need a 1/4" hole.

    Trim clips

Yeah the Cuda molding clips from Mega Parts are too wide. They have the same part number as the 65 parts book has (6001 496) but they are different. I found these on Ebay and they look pretty much correct except they say 1/4" hole instead of the 3/16" hole. I am thinking about ordering a few. I...

    Random stalling, please help.

One probe on Neg post of the battery and one probe on the case of the ECU. If it has a good ground, it will show .03 ohms or less. If you get a bad or high resistance, try scraping a little paint off the firewall around the mounting bolt. Better yet, put a star washer between the firewall and...

    Random stalling, please help.

The first thing I would do is check the case ground on the ECU. A poor ground (more than .08 ohms) causes a transistor to open because of being overheated and will close the circuit back up when cooled down. People always blame the orange box when many times it is their own doing. The Chinese...

    Radiator Core Support

C body cars in the mid 60's - 70s had a bolt in core support. Unlike the B bodies that were welded in. I think 66-69 Dodge Plymouth Chrysler were interchangeable but don't quote me. At least 66-67. As was previously mentioned, No 26" in 65 but they were interchangeable with the 22" supports.

    Radiator Core Support

Probably would need to find any 68 Plymouth that had AC. I believe all AC 68's got the 26" radiator.

Brakes creaking? What's the spring the encircles the drum for ? 57 Belvedere

I'm glad you like em.........I never had any noise but I couldn't get mine to play well together. They took turns challenging my heart rate. I never knew if it was going to dive to the left or right when I had to make a quick application of the brakes. After new shoes, new cylinders and a...

Brakes creaking? What's the spring the encircles the drum for ? 57 Belvedere

You could possibly have a stone or something in that right side brake. Pull it off and see what is going on. Maybe a broken spring. By the way.....That spring on the outside of your drum was installed to deal with harmonic issues from what I have been told. I used to think it was to help cool...

    Won't Stop Cranking

It is true that the Chinese made orange boxes are inferior to the older Mopar units but I suspect the bigger issue is in piss poor grounding being the norm since even the good ones will fail and open that transistor if not properly grounded. I always verify less than .05 ohms at the case and I...
