Take away the 4 from the asking price and then maybe someone will buy it.

well the four speed parts alone are worth a grand , column , floor hump and peddles , z-bar , all the rest of the linkiage and support bracket that special to a c body , bellhousing , flywheel , clutch cores . but if your an auto person , you would have no need for a four speed car . this is the combo of parts i'm talking about .

It has the entire original drivetrain intact. Everything. Think about it. Right down to the 4 spd only firewall-to-fender brace, floorshift steering column, z-bar frame bracket..... Everything.
One stop shopping. I'd start with his price and look for wiggle room that would make it happen.

BB HP 4 speed car..........talk abt a labor of love. Note it is also a non-power brake car.........manual drums. Would be interesting to see the tag on this one but the build sheet has gotta be toast if there was ever one there. I disagree with his parting out comment........aside from the drive train there is not a lot there he could sell other than some nickel and dime stuff.

It would take quite a few years to part that out far enough to exceed $4600. It took me a while on here to sell a 68 F3 trunklid finish panel for ~$40, and this car doesn't have one.

That's a tough car, just like mine. Too much potential/cryin' shame to part out, and gotta price it high enough to prevent a flipper from parting it out, but it's then not worth the $$ to restore it vs finding a better candidate.

And so goes, the days of our lives...

Based on the 2-barrel carb on that one, I doubt the original 440 is still in there. Unless it's wearing an adapter plate or a rare 383 RB intake manifold from 1959? But yes, that car was a much better deal. NOM 440/4-speed trumps 383-4speed.

I'll just add that a guy here owns one, he gave me a 30 minute ride and showed me what it could do, it still gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. That powertrain combo on a '68 Fury, convertible, that's in a class by itself. Really a shame that one was neglected.

All those rotted out 68 Fury converts are breaking my heart. : ( The pic of the black one though made me smile. That one is a beauty.

Man.... they really liked green. Green and light tan. I think c bodies in other colors are just flukes.
