My new 1972 Imperial purchase delivered today.

We had snow this morning... Didn't stick and it was just above freezing... But it was still snow.

I found this older video of Big Red prior to me buying her last year. Driving down the road in Illinois 2017. Think this video can be seen? I tried a couple times and failed.

Worked fine for me. Thank goodness you took those lake pipes off!

Your Imperial looks great, I give you a ton of respect for straightening things out! Hope to see it in person some day.
May I ask what town in Illinois it came from? That video looks like it could have been filmed in my area.

Thanks Paul...That video shot in Staunton, Illinois. Big Red has new tires/rims to get on soon. I'll have to shoot a transformation video. And Big Red will have another Imperial stall companion if my transport contact can get her home. They are backed up on the East Coast 1- 6 weeks out!

Very nice! Staunton is a couple hours from me, I believe there was a large consignment facility in that area that burnt down?
Found another Imp? You are lucky to have 2 haha...when I was a child, my parents had a beautiful 72 that looked exactly like the one in my avatar.
I'm also in the process of waiting on transport of a Monaco, except mine is coming from the Northwest.
Any plans for your old rims/tires? I may be in the market.

Can't wait for the photos

I'll have to start a new thread soon:lol:.

That should expire in 160 days, not 60! Damn computers. (Minnesota takes approximately 160 days to get you a title, thanks to their computer "upgrade" they did last year.)

Yes. So for Big Red...purchased July 2017...got collector plates finally 2 1/2 months later...actually the title came about December 15th if I recall...even longer.

You finally got another Imperial!!! Congratulations!
Your pups are going to go insane! They won't know which one to run to! Maybe your wife will take one or two and you'll take one or two, then meet at the lake house for a picnic. Doesn't get much better than that.
That would be a nice picture...2 red Imperials parked on the grass...3 dogs on a blanket...a bucket of KFC...hahahahahahahaa!!!!!
