W1 is not a build date, 311 is the build date. A01 is code for light package group. Is F3 is exterior color; usually the 2nd F3 and the W1 are interior codes for the factory seats (Light green with white trim). V3W is for white convertible top. Not sure on M4W, but probably for a white top boot.

From memory, F3 was "Frost Green Metallic" in 1969.

M4W: Vinyl split back bench seat, white&black. Info courtesy of the ever-useful Hamtramck Registry.

Great Car. Love the Fuselage Fury.
440 is great engine choice.
Plan to do same with my 318 Vert.
Like the rust free quarter. Why are you selling?

Why are you selling?

We bought this with the idea of having a 'project' while having something fun to drive.
Once we got it running well we decided that next to tackle would be interior upholstery then paint... and then we realized that we're not good at either of those - and outsourcing defeats the purpose of having a 'project.'
Also, as much as I love driving this Fury it's just not practical year-round so I end up garaging it for 4 months.

Hi Jason
Very few people can do everything involved in resto work. I can't. That's why, for instance, I recently paid $450 to have a bumper rechromed. Farming out work just goes with the project territory. One of the great philosophers of our time said, "A man has got to know his limitations" (Clint Eastwood) When I reach my limit, I pay someone else to step in and bring me one step closer to a finished driver.
My vert sits garaged over the winter. As 18-19' convertible cruisers, our cars are impractical and wonderful.
Like your car. Best of luck with your sale. Ben
