Just curious about the number of 300L's still in existence or registered in U.S.A. Any suggestions as to finding that info would be appreciated.
Might want to check with one of the 300 Clubs.
I purchased one this past summer. Nice driver quality car. Highly optioned originally California car, spent a lot of years in Arizona. Repaint not up to my standards but looks good 5 footer. New legendary black leather seat covers and carpet. Everything else original. Had a '66 300 the same color (burgundy) for 34 years. Always regretted selling it and found this one.No way of telling. I have only seen a few pop up on this site over the years. One guy waited I think over a decade before the owner finally sold it to him.
Seems like the guys who have them aren't parting with them. Do you have one, looking for one, or just a fan like the rest of us?
Thankyou...should've thought of that.
Some of that data is off I know for a fact that there is only 96 4 speed cars and 12 that were optioned with acI found this webside, but I don't know how realistic these numbers are.

Some of these beauties came to Europe. I saw pictures from cars living in Switzerland, Great Britan, Finland and many in Sweden.
My car came 2010 from California to Germany and in this time I saw no other one here...
