Brake booster

Would Booster Dewey sell me a rebuilt power disc brake booster in exchange for my power drum brake booster, or is that strictly a matter of he rebuilds and ships back only what you send him?

When you have chance I would give them a call, they're great people to work with. I'm not sure what exactly they can do for you, but you'll have options. Hit him up.

If he has one he will sell it but you would be out the disk brake core charge. Unless you are converting to disks, the disk booster is overkill.

when i put 71 new yorker discs on my 68 fury i replaced the master with a disc brake one with a larger resevoir and re-used the original booster ...it stops absolutely fine...

I find drum brakes can work well if set up correctly. I wouldn't road race with them or go up and down big mountains etc. I have all drums on my 69 Fury with an all cast iron 440 heavy engine and they work fine for the kind of driving i do.

I am looking for a power drum brake booster for my 1969 Fury 111 with 383 4bb. or any info on where to get on or rebuild mine!!!
I have one from my power drum 69 fury before I went to disc drum. It was an original 318 car and was working fine with the 440 maybe 4 yrs ago. But the MC was not good...very dirty/clogged. Is this what you had in mind?

I used Steve's service with no issues. On the contrary, he was very helpful with my 4-disc conversion!

That looks like a single diaphragm Midland? I have the dual one that was used on some Dodge trucks? 4-disc conversion. I was told it is the same one used on 65-66 T-Birds , but, with 4 stud for MC.
