its been awhile. source of fresh oil puking out the exhaust has been found. all 4 exhaust valve stem seals have lifted from their seat, on passenger side head. all other speculations dismissed. But, WHY the seals lifted remains a mystery.

got the LOKAR Shifter in.
tranny mount, pivot location for kickdown. ive got a Lokar auto floor mount to accompany the new 76 727 & stall conv . SUGGESTIONS PLS

well, i surely appreciate all that wonderful feedback, advice & suggestions
2. to get moving from intersection, i upped the RPM's, then put it in gear. did so ~10 times to get moving. Did i kill my torq con or pump ?
but no response in any directional gear. 1. Advice on the sputtering, backfiring & stalling out
couple of days ago, instead of stalling from a dead stop, i lost function of transmission (727tf). parking pawl still engags...
got so bad on me, while driving, it would stall out from a dead stop or whenever pulling any sort of grade
cant locate any vacuum leaks. and vacuum advance on dist seems to functioning properly. (still idles great)
engine ran like a charm for first 3k miles after rebuild, then started spitting whenever i mashed the gas, gradually getting worse
i need some sound advice.
system works better with ALL the wires connected

worked great for a while...still showing charging, but now starter wont even engage with less that 14 volts - jumping it. Batt has 12.83

thinking about buying a 76 Shasta Swinger with a 440 Dodge engine
im seeking rear lift...& a LOT of it
...from underneath axle tubes...to topside of axle tubes. Any suggestions/reccomendations ?
