Just got a 1960 Imperial Crown. A few things are needed.

What a beauty. Congratulations on your new baby. The white wall size you have now looks pretty good, but from the original photos the white walls were a bit wider. Not full on 50s wide.

tariff codes for vintage car parts

Are you selling the part from a business? If not, I don't think I would open that can of worms with customs. You are just sending an old part to a friend that needs it. Maybe this post from the AACA forum will help. The post gets flipped to importing to Canada...

66 New Yorker 440 - what do you hear?

Power steering bracket looks like it might need some attention, the PS belt might be a bit long and it is rubbing the fan pulley. Use a stethoscope to go around the engine to find that squeak. I think the squeak is in the pulleys or brackets. The engine exhaust sounds ok.

    67 Chrysler Newport muscle look

I am all for performance upgrades, as long as they start with brakes, suspension and steering. Then sort out the drive line for safe reliable use. The car will feel faster and be faster with a great handling suspension and brake system. After that build a good low rpm torque engine, 1000 to 5000...

    Group 24, 27 or 34 battery? Good brand? Marine/RV ?

Sounds good and have had no issues with Costco group 24 batteries,. But I am doing for cosmetics, as the 27 is what my Imperial would have come with.

    Group 24, 27 or 34 battery? Good brand? Marine/RV ?

Just what I am looking to do for my Imperial. Having a hard time sourcing a group 27 flat top battery, you just reminded me to start looking again. That didn't take long. I will need to go in store for a look as photos are not always what you get, but I found a flat top 27 at Canadian tire.
