Well I got tired of messing with the Edelbrock 1411 on my 383 so I changed it to a Quick Fuel Slayer 600. I can say it is a night and day difference for sure. Starts right up very easy and idles smooth the throttle response is very crisp.

GM is not 5x4.5 GM is 5x4.75, Ford is 5x4.5 . GM wheels will not bolt on our cars.

The trim was factory but I have yet to find any trim around anywhere. That's a heavy tape the previous owner put on there to keep the water out of the trim holes. The wheels are 70's Cordoba wheels. The car has been my daily for 2 years.

I tried everything on my 1411 jets,springs,metering rods as well and the off idle stumble drove me nuts. But I did cure it by going with a eddy nozzle kit. I put in the biggest nozzle the kit had which I think were the .043 and problem fixed.

I bought some for my 65 Polara from Summit. They match the red interior pretty good and are the same latch style. Best part they were $19 each.

I had to dial in the same carb on my 383. I ended up with changing the nozzle to the largest one in the kit .043 (the nozzle kit comes with 3 nozzles). I also used my vacuum gauge to find out the engine vacuum then divided that in half to get the correct spring. Then I jetted the primary side up...

Electric fan firmament problem fixed. I got a 3 core radiator for a 67 Dart big block and modified the Flex a lite fan and shroud combo. Car now stays cool with no problems.

Alot of guys in the trucking industry are doing this to there trucks (wheel bearings, diff bearings,etc...) and they are having good luck with it.Also put picking up a few 1/10 mpg as well.

My fan is built into the shroud as one unit with a rubber seal that seals around the radiator for Max cooling. It is a 3300 cfm puller.

Yeah I have used the radiator for awhile now so can't send it back. But I can either have my original rebuilt or get a 3 core for $200

I was wondering if anybody knows of a shorter water pump for a 383 than stock. I have a 4 core radiator and I have a flex-a-lite back magic electric fan and shroud combo.I need about another 1/2" of clearance to make it work. Thanks

How do they fit on your 66? I have a 65 Polara and want to put headers on and have a hard time justifying the cost of the TTI headers.
