How to rebuild Chrysler Power Window motor clutch assembly

Sorry, I did not get a notice to this thread and I looked in the book and could not find the same page I am SURE was in there ... I looked a few times because I'm redoing my passenger window - turns out the "premium oem" replacement kit that included a new metal gear had the gear teeth sheered...

    70 Fury Vert. window adjustment

Ditto on be careful of the convertible door window glass. Have an assistant hold it or insulate the bottom of the door with towels or put wooden support struts under it. 1969-1970 convertible door glass is unique to convertibles. It is shorter in height than 23 and 29 body glass. I broke my 1970...

68 T&C Power Window Relay - Source of the problem?

Update. Since I have not seen it posted anywhere, if your factory power window relay quits like mine did, NAPA has a replacement that works great. AR200 manufactured by Ehrlich. Had Devinism rebuild the switches and the windows in the T&C are moving again.

    1964 Chrysler 300 Window Motor

First I thought that looks like a heater blower motor to me. Then thinking about it, the heater motor won't have the reversing wiring. So that got me thinking more (which is dangerous) and given that I've seen a lot of parallels with FoMoCo stuff, it's makes some sense that maybe the Fords...

    1970 Dodge Monaco wagon

@Roberth.82 -- do you still own DH45L0R114904 ? I just saw that a car that looks eerily similar (cue the tow hitch, the thin crack on the dash, and the period aftermarket audio equalizer) is up for sale in the Czech Republic? Dodge Monaco STW Please let me know -- if it is still yours, then I...

This is the story of a one-owner car that I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase and put back on the road. Sit back, relax, and enjoy one of those feel-good stories about an...

    performance 1966 chrysler newport

First reaction to your request would be something of a lack of knowledge of UniBody cars without a top on them. For a normal car with their OEM engines, they were fine, but when you start to talk about "big power" and "muscle car", that can imply a car with a lot of torque from the motor and/or...

68 T&C Power Window Relay - Source of the problem?

I've been working on debugging my electrical system in the 68 T&C and have been surprisingly happy so far. Worked through a few small switch and fuse issues, but have most of the power accessories back to working. Devinism is probably ready to ship my switches back, so that will be great. My...

    For amusement only...

This guy is a real A-hole. Just about everything one doesn't like in a seller this fellow exhibits. Got to read his content on this real 1975 Dodge Charger R/T so he says. Tons of pictures where all I see is trash but as always in the eyes of the seller. No one here is buying this thing of that...

1966 Fury III - Unfinished Project

Little by little, piece by piece. It stopped raining long enough today to get the bodywork hammers out and straighten the drip rail out enough to be able to refit the trim. The line (more or less) follows that of the other side, which is straight down following the window trim, and then curving...

    1966 Imperial Crown convertible

Well, it's been six months since the last update. I've been spending time accumulating bits and pieces for the car over the Winter, and have the following to install over the month of May: 1) New windlace for the door openings. The old stuff is either missing completely, or suffered greatly...

    WANTED Window motor

I know that power window motors and rebuild, refresh threads for them have been gone over at length on this forum, but as someone who is going through this right now with my 67 300, I wonder if it might not make more sense to just purchase the Dorman repops and change out the brackets? I thought...
