Question about front eye bolt and nut for leaf springs

...off using this sort of nut than to have some Yahoo armed with a stick welder that would ruin the bolt and nut by dabbing some slag onto both to hold it in place. Thank ESPO for their consideration. I replaced the pair they sent me with my kit when I moved their springs from our '66 to our '68.

Leaf Spring Replacement - Standard or HD

Refresh my memory about what car you have. Yes, I think ESPO is a little cheaper and overall is going to be cheaper shipping because PA is closer to you. IMHO, the leaf springs on your car are going to be enough to handle a trunk full of luggage. Start stuffing a lot of people in and maybe...

    Replacement Leaf Springs Needed

Ok thanks. Good to know. I will keep that in mind. Just curious, what did you have to pay for shipping, and Dutch taxes? If you don't mind me asking.

    Replacement Leaf Springs Needed

Thanks for these numbers Marty. Alot of money to get parts from the US to your doorstep. But still less than I suspected. Hobbywise I sometimes wish we lived in the US... Yes I saw the Moparshop springs. Wonder if 4 door springs are different than 2 door models. My 2 door has 7 leaves, that was...

ESPO 6 leaf vs. 7 leaf

...together for another winter project for the Fury and wanted to get some opinions and comparisons from anyone who has gotten leaf springs through ESPO. I'm definitely going to go with one inch over stock height, but would like to see what two inches over would do. The back end sits up a little...

    Replacement Leaf Springs Needed

$ 420 for a pair seems reasonable. Although shipping and Dutch taxes might double that price. Eaton is asking $475 for a six leaves spring each?! Product Lookup by vehicle

    Who sells leaf springs?

Those bushings are pretty easy to remove/replace. Been there... Done that. It can even be done on the car. But if your heart is set on spending $$, Espo is always my first choice. https://www.springsnthings.com/

Question about front eye bolt and nut for leaf springs

I just received my new leaf springs from ESPO, and I also purchased their hardware kit which comes with the shackles and bushings, U bolts and the front eye bolts and nuts. As I was going through the hardware kit, I always test out the bolts and nuts to make sure they work correctly and I came...

    Bad News from ESPO

From what I see, ESPO is a "Mom and Pop" supplier. I don't know how much they actually manufacture, but I don't think it's a lot. I don't think they have a large shop and probably not a lot of employees. Googling their address shows a small facility, most likely next to their home. I think...

    Replacement Leaf Springs Needed

ESPO springs & things (or is it springs'n'things) is a good source, they are however, in PA, and shipping..... (which matters on things like this) may be substantial - maybe a source that's closer geographically will turn up, but if not, they're a good one.

Exactly What Wheels & Tires Fit C Bodies?

eyeballing it, the backspace is likely around 3.5 inches (or slightly positive offset). i can see a concave face, so offset could even be "zero" (3 inches in a six inch wide wheel). rears may be 4.0 backspace. either way, with those tire sizes, on an unmodified car, would likely be fine. i...

    Replacement Leaf Springs Needed

I will second espo recommendation. I just put new springs on my '66 Fury convertible a couple months ago. Shipping to CA was about $100. Then you can get options of new eye bolts, bushings, shackles, etc. I was in it about $570 total for everything. Worth the money IMHO as she rides awesome!

    1967 Imperial leaf spring isolator

I want to replace the leaf springs on my 1967 Imperial, but the rubber isolator's are all cracked and split. Is there a source for new ones? Or good used? Got my springs from Espo, but they do not have a source for them. Any help appreciated. These are the ones by the shock plates.

Uncle Ray is going in for round 2

Some before and after action. Before: original springs and shitty Monroe coil overs. After: espo 2 inch over stock and KYB KG 5413 shocks. I know it's not everyone's flavor of "stance" but it looks pretty sweet to me.

Leaf Springs or Air Shocks for sagging 197070 Chrysler 300

Get springs, ditch the air shocks and find another mechanic. A lot of us have bought springs from ESPO, Leaf Springs For Your Car or Light Truck 1940-1990's+ , but it may be cheaper for you (shipping) to buy from someone else. Eaton comes to mind...
