1967 Plymouth Fury III voltage regulator

Just make sure the electronic regulator has a solid ground to the firewall. A poor ground will cause overcharging and could cause damage or an electrical fire.

1967 Plymouth Fury III voltage regulator

That is like the one I bought from J.C. Whitney years ago. It worked great, much better than the point type. Thanks for posting this. John

1967 Plymouth Fury III voltage regulator

Just went thru this on my '69 - ended up using/finding a fully electronic one at Classic Industries. Pricey but so far so good! (parked for winter :) ) https://www.classicindustries.com/product/1968/dodge/charger/parts/MD2439.html?srsltid=AfmBOoroRohMmIDV5owRip4vqe-xzzvFaWvWTRj5lEGr8g1T-4CgTivt6PI

    Greetings, various restoration issues

No, I've never had that problem. It could be from the same source given it runs the width of the car.

Wanted Advice On 383 Big Block

Yes I’d get a little puff of blue smoke but that’s all not much at all. It’s fresh gas only drained the tank! No only 2 or 3 plugs Once I give it a good run and drive and use it as you would expect it’s fine! I just need to figure out the blow by that has now caused it to puke oil out from places!

    Parking Brake 62 Chrysler Newport

You will need to remove the E-Brake drum from the rear of the transmission. Then remove the E Brake shoes, there should be a snap ring that holds the cable to the backing plate. Dave

Wanted Advice On 383 Big Block

So it sits for a couple days and fires up you get blue smoke for a minute ? valve seals. Is every plug same oil fouled? Might want to run a hotter plug. A few extra cranks after a week is no big deal. How old is the gas? You have done timing correct ?
