    C-Body Wheel and Tire Survey

Another 1962 Chrysler, courtesy of @73 New Yorker. Those seem similar to the aftermarket wheels that were on =ayilar&o=relevance']Betsy, my 1996 RMW, when I acquired her (I immediately sold them and switched back to OEM).

Coolest thing(s) I've seen in awhile.

Yes, searching that forum should be very helpful. Several of the members there are knowledgeable and willing to share their knowledge. @david hill knows these cars inside out, and he fixed an issue with the A/C on Betsy. I am paging him because no good deed of his goes unpunished :)

@DocMcNeedy @3175375 @amazinblue82 Here’s Betsy, my dark cherry 1996 RMW. I acquired her just 3 years ago from New England and have traced her history. I’ve put almost 20k miles on the car since then. She has visited 18 states, DC, and Ontario (Canada). @david hill helped me bring her back to a...

...Michelins are superb, for ride comfort, noise level, AND roadholding. For a car that I want to be able to use in all weather conditions, like Betsy, those considerations all get priority over looks. For a car that does not see the snow, like Lalie (the 1996 FWB that I recently sold to a...

Coolest thing(s) I've seen in awhile.

...I owned a 1996 FWB that I sold to an FCBO member in fall 2024, and I found quite a bit of useful info for both Lalie (the Caddy's name) and Betsy there. Here's a photo of Lalie as eye candy -- yes, she dark cherry too (triple burgundy in her case -- paint, leather, vinyl top): PS...

I wonder if Diamondback would modify a specific tire per customer request, and vulcanize white walls onto it. They have predetermined tire models that they use for their different offerings, based on quality and availability, and other things.... whether it would be worth it, that's another...

    Show me your raised whites!....please

I recently had a set of Defender LTX M/S 235/75R15 installed on my RMW. Here is what they look like on Betsy, my Roadmaster wagon (parked at a friend's on a hill, so the front wheels are turned for safety). The Buick OEM wheels are also new to me (scored them on eBay last year). Thanks to...

They will be installed next Tuesday. For interested folks, Discount Tires still has the tire in stock at some...

    What is your daily driver?

Thank you for letting us know about 1G4BR82B5TR412367 -- very cool story! Sorry to hear about the transmission. The previous owner of Betsy, my '96 RMW, had to rebuild the trans a couple of months after buying the car last summer. Luckily, the job was well done and I've just put close to 4k...

Front End Rebuild - Firm Feel or any other options?

...vacation I got a call from an interested buyer. He saw the car 6 years ago when I showed it at the same show. A friend of his happened to be at the show and told him he saw a 66 TC that was for sale. Long story short, Old Betsy will have a new owner tomorrow, Saturday. Good Luck with your...

Front End Rebuild - Firm Feel or any other options?

Sad to learn you decided to part ways with the wagon. I thoroughly enjoyed your descriptions of the improvements you made to it. Your input on this site has been second to none. By the way, did you like the FF Stage 1 steering box? I probably need to replace mine, as it’s leaking badly. I had...

    66 Chrysler 300, Betsy

Hi everyone, my name is Dustin, from southern central PA but currently reside southwest of Pittsburgh. So I’ve always been a Chevy guy (Dad is a Chevy guy) and I’ve owned well Over 40 GM products but I’ve never had anything really nice, I had several kind of nice 10 footers though. So a couple...
