It's actually mounted on the package tray in the center. That brings another question, there's 2 more ovals that could take stereo speakers, but I don't think there was then so what were they for?

Hello all. A while back I purchased a new rear end dropout unit for my New Yorker. A 3.23 to be exact. Does the driveshaft have to be balanced again after installing the new dropout? Or can I just install the new dropout and be on my way? Thanks!
