For Sale OEM Oil Slinger for Mopar V-8 Engines

This is a OEM Oil Slinger for Mopar V-8 Engines. It came off a late 1960's 440, but I believe it fits all Mopar V-8 engines from 1960 to 1978. It is original, not a china knockoff, and is in good condition. Just needs a cleanup. $15.00. Local pickup, or buyer pays shipping.

Heater core leak on my new carpet

I don't know about the staining or bleaching ability of antifreeze. But the way I clean severely dirty car carpet and seats is with a detergent in a spray bottle, a garden hose with spray nozzle and a wet vac. Mist lightly with water diluted detergent in a pump bottle. Brush aggressively...

65 Imperial with a 413 CI that cranks but won't start

If it's getting fuel, the spark plugs may not be getting spark. Have you checked point gap with a feeler gauge? Have you checked to see that the f'd up mechanic left distributor rotor pointed at #1 tower on the distributor cap when timing mark near top dead center? This should happen at top of...

This rubber trunk mat available for my 57 Belvedere?

On cars with a rear defrost and rear speaker, the speaker would go on one side and the air intake for the defrost on the other so they’d match. There’s a small slit right near the glass where the defrost vent would be mounted. If you had only defrost the air intake would be in the middle. Or if...

This rubber trunk mat available for my 57 Belvedere?

Chryslers and I think DeSotos also had a rear defroster as an option. My 57 has the speaker shaped holes too and I think they are for the rear defroster. As far as I know, it was not an option on the Plymouths, but the package trays might interchange from model to model so the Plymouths would...

65 Imperial with a 413 CI that cranks but won't start

Well you’ve thrown a bunch of parts at it, several of which are known to be bad right out of the box these days unless you know where to get them from. My guess is at least one of the new parts you installed is junk, condenser maybe?

This rubber trunk mat available for my 57 Belvedere?

It's actually mounted on the package tray in the center. That brings another question, there's 2 more ovals that could take stereo speakers, but I don't think there was then so what were they for?
