    WANTED Bumper Jack BASE ONLY

Why don’t you contact DocMcNeedy on this forum, he has garages full of this era Imperials and I’m sure he can provide a photo of the correct jack base. Or send him the pic to what detmatt has available and he can tell which is correct.

NOT MINE 1948 Chrysler Crown Imperial Limousine - $6,800 - Sun City, Arizona

yes, I understand - it's an old post & not finding anything. There were 750 made from 46 - 48, probably fewer that 200 ther final year? My understanding is there are 3 still around, only 1 running. Hard to verify. There are a few in this group going back a while. If it is true there is only 1...

Introducing my new-to-me 1961 Newport.....and everything wrong with it.....erm...so far.

Introducing my new-to-me 1961 Newport.....and everything wrong with it.....erm...so far.

The wheels - and I am not sure what brand or model - are 15". So no joy on that front. I wonder if everything came out of a New Yorker - grill, engine, transmission - it would make sense. Did the '62 have the long ram manifold as an option? Not that it matters I guess, the manifold could...

rebuilt 301 vibrates at around 3k RPM or 40 mph

Thanks CBODY. The problem is more in the 2k rpm and above and the dwell was off about 2 degrees at about 33 degrees. I adjusted it to 30 degrees at idle and it moved to 23 degrees at 2k rpm or above. The advance seems to be working as it drops about half of the advance timing off when...
