I just thought of something. The B-24 was made in more quantity than the B-17, flew faster (even though lower) and had a heavier bomb load than the 17 too. Yet, sitting here, I can't think of a single WWII movie that features them. War Lover - 17; 12 O'clock High - 17; Memphis Belle...

Need advice for improving brake performance on my 1963 300 Pacesetter

I'm a little out of touch with the aftermarket parts industry, retired in 2018. I looked up your car at NAPA Online and it shoes 11x3 on the front, Part # TS148 and 11x2.5 on the rear, Part # TS174. They only supply one quality level which is dissappointing, however 'in the old days' NAPA...

    Dash pad Cracks

I remove the entire dash pad from the car and recover it with "one" layer of the thinnest fiberglass "cloth" available. Then I cover that with the closest texture match vinyl I can find. That's the best I got for you. Good luck trying to preserve or reverse a cracked a dash pad place. I gave up...

    A few pics...

It is a 225 w/3-speed on the floor. Says the car had just two options - AM and heater. Very base car with a warmed over 225. Sweet little Valiant! The '79 300 is one of several original-owner cars that appeared at SPMF.
