    Baby, it's colder outside

Cold air intakes are a fairly inexpensive modification and easier to install than most other engine modifications. No, they won't add quite as much power as other engine mods, but they will help your engine in some other ways.Think of a factory air intake system as like having a cold that clogs...

    Hood to rad seal

I have finally sourced a rubber hood-to-rad support seal but I'll be damned if I know which way it goes on. Shaped like a rubber "V" there are two possible ways of mounting it, Any one with a pic or otherwise, I greatly appreciate some help here. Does the smaller rubber wiper point up or down?

Parts for a 65 Imperial Lebaron

I take care of a 1965 Imperial Lebaron for an elderly friend of mine and he's damned and determined to finish his restoration before the Lord comes to get him. The car is a Florida purchase and is in unbelievable condition except the upholstery and headliner. Just can't seem to find either...

Having ordered a specific set of rear shocks for my Mopar these dudes not only sent the wrong ones listed on their site ( with their part #'s ) but sent any old set that don't fit my car at all. The bill enclosed had an "item # (wrong) and a part description (right) and sent me neither. Upon...

    Who's who

I was just informed that Holley has purchased MSD who previously purchased Mallory. Does this mean some companies products go up in quality, down in quality or just more expensive. Talk about market share. If you can't compete buy the buggers out. And it gets better. They also purchased the...

    65 Fury lower rad hose

I have a 383 in my car and the inlet size for the hose at the water pump housing is about 1 7/8 ( could be 1 3/4 as it's hard to measure being cast iron ) while the outlet from the rad is 1 1/2 inches. Where would you find a hose with different end sizes to fit this application. The rad is...

    Need tunes in my car

I have a 65 fury that the radio in went for a crap and will cost to much to repair. I have recently read that car radios used to have designation numbers like 602 or USA 1 and was wondering if these numbers represented dimensions or style. I would like to retrofit a radio ( not one of...

    Long, boring days of winter

Got a bit bored this winter and decided to upgrade my cluster using a couple shabby ones I had laying around. Put all the important gauges "in my face" for easy viewing and included LED's for high beam and oil pressure below 18 p.s.i. It was a most enjoyable project that I have posted pics of...
