Dodge truck Parking/ interior light issue

Ok here is the update on the truck head light issue. I took out the switch I just installed and checked it with an ohm meter. The ohm meter would only go to 0 momentarily when the knob was partially pulled out. It would not go to 0 ( stayed at 1) when it was in its correct stop location. I...

There is no burning of wires or heat, here is what's happening. Pull out headlight switch, running lights, tail lights, and dash lights only come on momentarily before the stop ( groove to have just the running lights on). If I pull all the way to the stop the lights go off. If I pull the head...

Thanks for the help guys. Wile E Coyote nice truck! Do you still have the 16.5 wheels or did you change over the 16 or 17 inch. 16.5 tires are only made by firestone in one size and cost $140 a piece. I was thinking of picking up some used dually rims with tires that are 17s, but I really...

Power Window regulator removal 1969 300 vert

On the opposite side the holes were not cut. Therefore I made a template and used a hole saw to cut them. The power motor was different than the other though. It has springs in it and not the plastic pucks... anybody know about this type?

Power Window regulator removal 1969 300 vert

Ok so on the passenger side it appears there were holes already cut by a previous owner to access the motor bolts. This made removal and rebuild extremely easy.

Power Window regulator removal 1969 300 vert

So I am trying to strategize this ( probably just procrastinating) but can I leave the regulators in the car with the window clamped in the up position and remove the motor from the regulator? Removing the motor should not unwind the spring on regulator since it is still attached to window and...
