    Another Rear Drum Dragging Thread

I have been struggling with a dragging & overheating right rear drum issue for a while. Last year I decided to rebuild all four corners, new shoes, drums, cylinders, springs, etc. The new shoes made the issue worse even on short rides. I eagerly followed Zymurgy's thread about the same issue. I...

    Rebuilding Brakes

After dealing with a number of issues, rim heating, pulling, hard pedal, I am finally rebuilding all 4 corners. The rears are complete and road tested, the fronts are 90% and I hope to complete tonight. I got stumped last night when installing the new front hydraulic hoses, they seemed too short...

    Rear axle bearing?

I've always had a slight metallic rub sound from left rear when making right turns which seems to be getting much worse. No straight line noise, just right turns. Is this the early symptom of a failing bearing?

    New Wheels and Shoes

Finally outfitted the road wheels with new shoes and couldn't be happier. The move from 14" lower profile tires to the 15" rim with 235/75's has raised the stance significantly and improved the ride.

    Wheels of Yesteryear

Has anyone else toured this little museum in Myrtle Beach? I've gone through it twice and spent considerable time speaking with the owner both times, he can recall every gear ratio, engine specs, etc. While his collection includes something from every brand he's certainly a die-hard Mopar guy...

    Master Cylinder Mystery

Pulled the car from storage today and the rear reservoir was empty again...same thing last year. It doesn't lose a drop all summer, just when in storage. Front res is fine. The front wheel cylinders were replaced 2 years ago so I don't think they are leaking. Any idea where the fluid is going or...

New oil pump but oil light on

So I replaced my leaking oil pump with a pump (mechanic friend picked it up for me). It went on pretty easy but now I have oil light on. Don't have gauge so not sure what pressure is. What did I do wrong?

    Front Suspension

I'm having an issue with the front end bottoming out over small bumps. I'm wondering if the torsion bars require adjustments or all out replacement...or is it a shock issue? I could attempt an adjustment but the car already appears to sit a little higher at the front so I don't want too much of...
