I thought that I'd post this on "B" Body Only, since this year is a "pre B" but I did not think it would go too far. The 8 3/4 rear on the '64 Chrysler have a tapered axle like the '64 "B" body? The car I'm looking at has a broken axle and will need a replacement.

Came across a '62 NY. A and B bodies, no problem. A 1962, its a big question mark. If I make the deal, I'd like to change the brakes to disc/drum, more modern shocks and the front end will probably need a full redo. Most of my rides wind up and overpowered street cars, somewhere down the road...

TTI doesn't have them. Hooker has only an 1 3/4" header. Not going to work with 550 HP.

Looking for dropped spindle and tubular UCA for '67 Fury? I have answers to A and B bodies but this is all new to me.

Anyone have any idea who makes BB headers?

Wouldn't even consider that trans. I'm doing a weight watcher guesstimate right now. 3717 lbs as is. With the 440, 3750. If I can loose 250 lbs without removing front and rear glass, then its a new project.

Looking at a '63 Newport with 361. I have a 600 HP BB in the shop with 50 passes. Easy swap? I'll have to check if I still have a Dana for the rear.

Is there a difference between the Newport and 300 in body and interior?

Switching a 360 to a 440. Can I just do a motor mount swap or do I need to change the K?

I'm going to look at one over the weekend. Did Mopar change anything on the front suspension like they did on the B bodies? Motor mounts, brakes and systems and front suspension still readily available? Thanks

I am looking at a '61 Phoenix. Before I buy it, is there a disc brake set up that I can swap? Are suspension replacement parts hard to find? Thanks
