    Thank you HWYCRZR and Dave's Lux for your replies! I will work on that this evening and see what happens with the jumper. The transmission was built with the new NSS in mind. The concept of heat causes resistance is very helpful. Thank you both, I appreciate your time.

    Not done yet. Another buff, then the side trim and adjustments of trim and bumper. Will post more pics over time. Also have extnsive pics of the build. 383 is strong. I intend to put a ton of miles on this car. My son Luke and I built this together, with some help.

    In 1968, the Sport Fury had red paint on the center panel that is attached to the trunk lid, creating the illusion that the tail lights wrap around in a loop. The other Furys did not have that red paint. I want to add that red paint to my Fury III. Anyone know what paint I should use? Thank you.

    Bummer about the problems, but these are great cars! I love my 65 Custom 880 Convert and drove her for many years all over the Midwest. Most reliable car I have ever owned. But now it is time for her to help someone else continue the tradition.
