    Thats good to know thanks. I have been under to top up fluid and read the 2.76 tag. Thats it so far so i am very green when it comes to mopar rears. So i should be able to just get the seal/bearing kit and gears from US Gear and just swap out? Good stuff. Thanks.

    Hello all, I have searched the forums and found some info on the right rear gears/ratio to get to spice up the newport. Its a 400-2 and will be sporting an edlebrock 1406 and likely a stock 4 barrel intake (as i have one on my bench). I have the 8.25 rear and 2.76 gears at the moment...

    Wish i had the funds right now. What is the price? What a refreshing change to see detailed photos and clear video, not these one pic, lazy bones sellers we see usually. I hope it finds a good home it is a very nice fury. Like the color combo.

    Thanks. I have the same pic, I have just not seen the case without plug in it or smooth not molded as in guide.

    I have searched and looked at photos of the rears and am i correct thinking I have a 8.25 rear in my car with and aftermarket cover? I was expecting a 9-1/4. Most I have seen have the plug on the right. I am thinking a 3.23 rear change from the original 2.71 would make it a little more...
