While trying to adjust my front end one of the bolt heads snapped off. Might as well replace both... 1966 Chrysler 300

Hey fellas, put stance on the back burner during the disc swap. Had a few minutes tonight and decided to try adjusting the torsion bars again. Driver side was great. Moved to passenger.... And snap. Bolt head gone. Best way to remove what's left? Hopefully I can snag a new set at carslile.

And it's less than 7.00 Hahaha best news I have had all day.

Here are some images of the process. Some good (awaiting a bleed in the street because my garage isn't big enough for me to access all 4 tires at once). Some bad (maybe 50 bad flares before I got consistent).

Alright fellas... Conversion is done. And just in time too! One little thing to clean up though. When I was changing over to the disk brake pedal assembly I noticed there was no tip on the tail light sensor (what is this called?) See image. Where can I get one? Can I solder a new tip on? Ended...

Also- I am going to have to replace that smaller hose (or at least splice in a new end piece) Is this fitting correct? Power Brake Vacuum Hose Fitting

Any idea about what size vacuum line? Any brand I should look for?

You might be able to find one at Carlisle or Mopar nats... Mine sat on a shelf for a few years in NY. Found it on this forum.

So looking at this image- I already have something attached there. See attached. It goes into my firewall. Can I hook the new hose and this one into that spot with a new bolt?

It was the rotor. Returned it and got a set. Dust shields and bearings are all good.

Where\how did you guys mount your adjustable prop valves? Have one from inline tube. I have heard as close to the back as possible. Also have seen them right under the mc.

I do have a new front to back line from Inline Tube. Just wanted to make the rest while I'm at it. I'll go with 3\16.

Got it. Rotors from Carid were a perfec fit. Shields that I thought wouldn't fit are on as well. Let's talk brake lines... I know the mc to distribution block lines have to be 3\16. What about the rest of the lines. I plan to buy a roll and hand form later on today.

Napa was out of stock. Ordered the Centric brand from Rock Auto. Part # 12163021 Hopefully this solves the issue (the current one). I'll let you know in a few days if they are correct.

Trial and error I guess. Thinking the rotors are incorrect. Big John is right... If the races go farther into the rotor it will only make it worse. I can return the rotors still have the receipt. What is a suggested source? Rock didn't have any in stock for Raybestos but they do have centric...

Might take it into the shop in the am and have them press it all the way until it seats against the lip inside the rotor.

Rotors are 69 Rear bearing is tight on spindle. Thinking the races are not installed correctly...

I have the correct spindles from a 69 Polara w\ disc donor car. Not using my original 66 spindles.
