Thanks Stan. Hope all is well in Sebring. For those that don’t know, I’ve known Stan since I bought the car in 2007 and Stan did assist me with an alternator issue while I had the car in Florida. As payback I did locate and ship all Stan’s 4-speed conversion clutch linkage from a local yard here.

The burning answer is yes it does work but for some reason the clutch seems to slip slightly in low AC. High AC works fine but no worries. I’ve got a new AC clutch I’ll leave in the trunk when you pick it up ok?

Hi and thanks for looking at my 1978 New Yorker Salon Edition. It has 7” turbine wheels, sunroof, and the optional red leather interior has no rips. It has a rebuilt 440 engine and I installed a gear vendors package but I still have the original tailshaft if anyone wants to convert it back...

I put a gear vendors od in my 78 Salon car with 3.23 sir-grip. Did it mostly on a lark and to split shift gears. Works good, I still have it today. No mods to the tunnel required, it bolted right on but did have to use the park dog from the old tranny extension and the drive shaft needed to be...
