    1969 Chrysler 300

I’ve had a 1969 Plymouth Fury 3 for a little over a year now and I absolutely love the car except for one thing, finding parts is a pain and information is somewhat limited online. It’s not impossible by any means it just makes it less enjoyable to work on when I spend half my time searching for...

    Leaf Springs

I’m looking for new leafs for my 69 plymouth fury 3, it’s a factory 318 car but I’m putting in a 440 and the stock leafs are flat anyway so I’d like to replace them with the beefier ones for a big block. I’ve looked around and can’t seem to find anyone who sells them. does anyone know where I...

    Making a Wiring Harness

first I’ll going to throw it in the car to make sure everything works then i have some loom tape I’ll use to wrap it since it’s made of fabric and looks nice and doesn’t leave residue on the wires if I ever need to take it off in the future

    Making a Wiring Harness

This is basically the process I go through for each and every wire. Strip, bend in the tabs on the spade with pliers or dykes (I know they make a tool for this and I actually have a couple but personally I like to do it by hand), put a little solder on the end for a little insurance, and heat...

    Making a Wiring Harness

These are the spade connectors I’m using for the harness, I know they’re not OEM they’re actually for classic Japanese bikes but they work very well for my purpose and they’re inexpensive (100 for $7) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M9HGW7Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_DltcFbHB4JQR8 for anyone interested

    Making a Wiring Harness

A few weeks ago I was driving my 69 Fury 3 out of state and the wiring harness behind the dash caught on fire or shorted or something and melted the whole thing. Luckily I was able to bypass the ammeter to get it back home but ever since it’s been sitting in my yard. I went through and built a...

    Turn signal indicators

Not 100% sure if this is the right place for this question but I’m doing a lot of under the dash work on my 69 fury 3 and I would like to replace the plastic housings for the turn signal indicators and idiot lights. they’re red and green plastic with “left”, “right”, “oil”, and “brake” written...

    Dash wiring and testing

I have a 69 fury 3 that i’m making a wiring harness for behind the dash but don’t want to go through all the work for something to break. Is there any way to bench test the gauges (ammeter, fuel, temp) as well as the switches (washer, wiper, headlights, panel dimmer, and 4way)? I’m planning on...

    Accessory problems

I know this was a while ago but I was just looking through some old threads and noticed this. I never actually got around to running that wire because I got the key to work and thought that it was all good. A couple months later I drove the car from michigan to florida and around knoxville on...

    voltage regulator - please help

Sorry for the late response but I ended up bypassing the ammeter and making it all the way home, taking it real slow just in case. I took apart the dash and the entire wiring harness needs to be replaced, so much is burned up it’s not even worth trying to fix at this point
