1966 Plymouth Fury VIP | Wiper Arms Stuck

My thread has been answered. So it turns out that the wiper motor is perfectly fine but the rotating joint that connects the motor to the linkage had seized. The rest of the linkage was not seized which gave the appearance that it was fully working when I moved the wiper arms. I watched...

1966 Plymouth Fury VIP | Headlamps Not Working

I put the wiper motor back in today and the headlamps started working again. :wtf: Well, that answers my thread. I don't know if that ground through the wiper motor is stock or if that means that this car is ready to go to Mars. Buyer's happy though, I got payed.

1966 Plymouth Fury VIP | Headlamps Not Working

Thanks for your input. I did have the factory service manual and I traced out the wiring schematics but couldn't find any relation between the lights and wipers. I never replaced the dimmer switch its probably oem so you do have a point that the switch might've gone out at such a perfect time...

1966 Plymouth Fury VIP | Headlamps Not Working

Howdy, Are the light and wiper switches on the same circuit? Why am I asking this? I am asking this because my headlamps stopped working after I removed my wiper motor to troubleshoot the wipers. Also, I did not disconnect the wiper motor from the bulkhead so it is still connected just not...

1966 Plymouth Fury VIP | Wiper Arms Stuck

I figured I would give yall an update and not leave my thread unanswered so that its actually useful to others with a similar problem. I finally got around to taking the wiper motor out and the wiper arms were free! Just as I had expected for a Texas car. I grounded the wiper motor to a...

1966 Plymouth Fury VIP | Wiper Arms Stuck

I figured I would check in to see if anyone else has had this problem before I start tearing this thing apart lol As pictured these wiper arms have been in the same position since I got this car. It's as if someone turned the car off with the wipers still on. When I turn on the wipers, the...

Thanks. Ya, Its hard to unsee it when every other car in my life has had a coolant tank lol. But, isn't it a waste of coolant? lol The libtards are destroying the 21st century, I lost faith in 21st century cars, so ill be driving this 66 fury around for a while.

Coolant Recovery Tank Location 66 Fury

Thanks, good info to know. The more I looked around, the more I realized that a coolant tank didn't exist. But, the hose on the radiator was gone when I got the car so I had only online pictures to go off. Its very possible to mount a coolant tank but I had seen a lot of cars with no receiver...

Coolant Recovery Tank Location 66 Fury

I'm trying to figure out where the coolant recovery tank originally mounted on my 1966 Plymouth Fury VIP. Based on my original radiator, and looking at other cars, I know that the tank hose ran down the right side of it near the battery tray but where the other end of it goes I have no clue...
