    Shipping Cost Rant!

Bigger boxes for tiny items is usually to help keep the package from getting misplaced & lost by a carrier.

Number matching / date correct.. Please help me understand

To me, sourcing correct / date coded parts (there are many parts with codes/dates, not just the block) shows you've put more research/effort into the restoration of the car and therefore more likely to have took the time to do things proper and correct throughout the car without halfa**ing...

    S23 plague project

Glad to see another one saved. That S/23 is in my favorite '70 color combo! I agree that the patrol car should be saved as well even if its just a 318 car. Looks to be in remarkable condition all this considered & probably even fewer of those have survived the last half century. But if you do...

A body vin decode help please

Price is on the higher side but if its numbers matching that would be a huge plus. There was a beautiful patina black '67 383 4 speed 'S California car few years back at Carlisle sitting on a trailer in the swap meet for $7500. Supposed the block & trans sitting next to the car were the...

A body vin decode help please

As long as the front end is there the rest of whatever it could need is relatively easy to source being an A-body with good aftermarket support. Besides an M-code (which were all automatics), that is the top dog for a 2nd gen Barracuda.

    Carlisle 2013 Pictures

We got first in the '69-'78 C-bodies with our '70 Newport convertible. My father restored it back in '99-'01 & has only washed the car since, never even buffed it since it was painted. We were really excited to find out we won, no less first!! :occasion14:

    More pics from Carlisle 2013

Thanks for the pictures!! The gold '70 Newport convertible is ours! We actually ended up getting a first place trophy for our class amazingly. It was a great show but I wish we looked at the cars more cause we spent most of our time in the swap meet.
