Theory behind 2 fuel tank vents?

My tank has (4) vents that connect to a separator outside the tank. From there, one vent line goes to the charcoal canister. The tank internally has (4) vents so that each top corner of the tank is provided with a vent which would accommodate any situation that the tank encounters, with regards...

I ran into the same thing back in 2014 when I tried to get KYB rears for the NY. My local parts store didn't list anything, nor did rockauto. This is an omission in the master computer parts database or something. So, I just had my store order a pair of KYBs for a '73 Fury, assuming that it...

    Need Help understanding Fusible Links

I've been wanting to get replacement fusible links for my car to have on hand should the originals ever light up. However the connectors are very unique, I was going to start with Evans wiring to see if he has them....

Welcome. Your new Fury sure dwarfs the Valiant! Put up some more photos when you have a chance.

    Hi!

Welcome! Post some more pics of your Fury...it's beautiful! The shocks go in at an angle, from the front of the control arm and "up in". Jack up the front end to drop the arms to their max. It'll still be a tight fit but they'll go in. I had to use bailing wire to hold my shocks compressed...

Beautiful ride! Let's see some more photos! I work in Campbell and drive my '73 "Banana boat" down here from the Peninsula three days a week. I'm usually around here and in the Cambrian area for site visits. If I'm on the street, you can't miss me! Would love to see your car...

Wow, thanks for the info. That's a bum deal they did it that way. Here the whole time I've been trying to diagnose it as a problem when it's been a "built in problem". Will get a wiring diagram and figure out a work-around before next summer! I appreciate the warm welcome and positive comments...

Thank you!!! It's a standard control, not autotemp. Any idea where I could get a wiring diagram for the A/C controls? My problem is the clutch power wire is hot all the time. I replaced the head end controls (vacuum switch and clutch switch) and still getting power at the clutch in the OFF...

Thanks for the great comments! I was drawn to the car when I first saw it a couple years ago, down in the Palm Springs area when visiting my uncle. It was parked down the street from his house at his neighbor's. I had never seen another fuselage-era NY'er before this one. I would see it every...
