I am getting ready to swap out my worn out Carter 4113s with an edelbrock 1405, will that bolt right up or will I need a adapter for the transmission kick down and gas pedal and if I do do you have the part numbers that I will need Thanks
My 383 has an air cleaner with a short tube on one of the snorkles that isn't connected to anything and the valve cover breather cap looks like it was replaced at some point but it does not have a tube on it. Should I get the oil breather cap with the outlet on it and hook it back to the air...
Is there any harm in using a so70 oil filler breather cap instead of a stock oil filler breather cap $7 vs $70 the only dif I see is one is taller than the other
Mystery solved it ended up being a bad brand new carter pump causing the clanking noise. There was no wear on the pushrod at all. Replaced the pump and used the original pushrod and back to cruising. Thanks for the input
