    i think you may be right. in the attached photo there is a portion of the frame that is visible that i feel should not be.     a guy I was talking to at the Oreilly suggested I use that Valvoline VR stuff. He said something about "zinc" and older cars - its 20W-50! but thats exactly what the bottle says.

    know what i used? i used hand cleaner!! the kind you find in garages with aloe and lanolin in it. Gojo without the pumice in it! it worked pretty good!
