    65 Hi-Beam wiring

On mine, white is the ground, it screws down onto the grill housing.

    65 Hi-Beam wiring

I get the floor switch, but not how it functions since the red and black wires on the headlight carry over to the hi-beam. I'll find the manual and see what relay is up the line to govern that change.

    65 Hi-Beam wiring

Hello, I am working on swapping out my original headlights for some modern brighter lights with headlamps and hi-beams in one sealed unit. Is there a diagram somewhere on how the hi-beam toggle works? I see the brights hang off the same pigtail as the headlamps, but I'm not sure what happens to...

Hmm, where is the Flasher relay?

Can you clean it while installed or does the dash need to come out to fix it?

Hmm, where is the Flasher relay?

Thanks, are there any subsets of fuses or wiring blocks? Just the backup lights are dead, but the rear tails and brake lights work fine

Hmm, where is the Flasher relay?

That's basically what mine was. If I had a Cabbage Patch Doll hand, wrapped in chainmail, it would have been perfect

Hmm, where is the Flasher relay?

Mine does not have flashers, just turn signals

Hmm, where is the Flasher relay?

Thank you!!! It's not near the steering column in mine, it is over in a receptacle under the heater switch and radio. I wasn't seeing it as a relay until I disconnected the wires and pulled it out of the cylinder holding it in place Also, having hands larger than toddler-size is a real pain in...

Hmm, where is the Flasher relay?

Well, I have been crawling around for the last hour and a half and can't find it anywhere. I took some fairly useless photos but I can find the back of the speedo cluster, the radio, the ignition switch, the heater switch, the reverb switch, just not this relay. My blinkers blink with bulbs, but...

Possible to replace panel bulbs without removing dash

I did, it helped very minimally. I'd like to make it noticeably brighter at the high end. The dimmer switch works but I'll probably need to clean it out, or replace with a new switch.

Possible to replace panel bulbs without removing dash

Hello, the lighting in the dash of my 65 is really bad. Hard to see if there is any sort of exterior lighting (headlights, streetlights, the moon lol) Can I replace these bulbs with LEDs without removing the dash, or does the dash need to come out to get to the backs of the instrument panels? I...

Hmm, where is the Flasher relay?

You mean left and right as if I was sitting in the driver's seat?

Hmm, where is the Flasher relay?

I can't find it, I feel like a blind man grasping hopelessly (65 if the year matters, I have the wiring diagrams but can't physically locate the relay)

    Bulb Guide - 65

Is there a resource anywhere with all of the bulb types used throughout the car? I have a 65 New Yorker and want to upgrade the blinkers and tails to LED for better visibility to other drivers. If there is a bulb guide anywhere, please let me know so I can have them available and swap...
