    1977 Chrysler Town & Country

You probably want to keep in mind, that "just" putting the HD trailer hitch on your car doesn't automatically make it ready to tow a heavy trailer. You'll need the 3.21 rear axle and the enormous transmission oil cooler that was part of the HD trailer tow package.

    Compairson video 1976

These films were in a Super8mm cartridge that played in a proprietary Kodak projector. They (projectors and film cartridges) were unreliable to say the least and broke early and often. A lot of dealers ended up pushing them into a closet and piling the films up beside them. Chrysler &...

Isn't the dog leg the piece behind the rear door that forms the front of the rear wheel opening?

Cop Wheels and Dog Dish caps

A Sport Suburban was the wagon the big spender bought. The guy who wanted to show the world he'd "Made It" in suburbia and could go for all the bells and whistles. Putting body colour, or even black stamped steel wheels (cop car or not) and dog dish hubcaps just sends conflicting messages...

    Dodge Phoenix from Down Under

Interesting that the conversion was done on a 4dr sedan. I would have thought that the length of a 2dr door would have worked better aesthetically. What sort of final assembly was done in Australia? Did Windsor built this as a RHD car from the get go?

    Let's see some Wagons!

Absolutely lovely. A lottery list car for me, for sure. Which engine do you have ? I see cruise, but a fixed steering column and crank windows. I'm guessing that also rules out power door locks and a front power seat. Could you post a picture of your fender tag? Have you looked for the...

    Let's see some Wagons!

How good are the doors on the parts car ? Just swap the doors entirely. Fitting vent windows into ventless door shells IS a big job. IIRC, the shells even have different part numbers, so while I can't tell you what is different about them, there's obviously something. Paint the doors off...

    Let's see some Wagons!

One piece windows were cheaper to make and install than the two pieces that went into a door/vent glass assembly, plus the division bar, plus all the extra labour to install it on the line. With or without vent windows was completely independent of regular a/c or ATC a/c.

The vent windows were an option. Cheat and buy a parts car with vent windows and swap them onto your car. Other than paint and pulling the wiring harnesses back, you'll be golden.

This is Kip Gardiner's car and his now sold Airstream. Kip has this car so over-engineered that it's more like the plushest 3/4-1 ton truck you've ever seen.

Under the use conditions you describe, I can't imagine either how you could ever have a problem. Just file this away in the back of your head when somebody asks you to go to Home Depot to bring home a whack of plywood.

    Let's see some Wagons!

When I was able to visit with the fellow who was the chief chassis engineer for Chrysler in the early/mid 70s, I mentioned one day that I thought the product planning people were missing a bet not offering Chrysler road wheels on the wagons. THAT comment was a big button for him. He explained...

    Let's see some Wagons!

Sorry you have to sell it after going to all the trouble of getting it to NZ. It's definitely on my lottery list. I hope you find it a good home.

    T-Cows 68 T/C wagon updates...

That's pretty much what the ram-air setup on a '69 Olds 442 looks like. Just be careful if you find yourself in either really heavy rain, or several inches of standing water, it's amazing how easily water can travel up those tubes, and no matter how hard they try, the pistons won't compress...

    Let's see some Wagons!

So, are you basically complying with 1968 NZ new car specs ? Or do the requirements keep getting raised as more politicians/car haters stick their noses in?

    Let's see some Wagons!

Damn, that's gorgeous. I see high seat backs in the front. Split bench? BUCKETS?? It likely will run better as you use it. It'll like long trips the best.
