Nice progress Goodneighbour, I am slowly putting together a '60 Windsor in NZ. Which brake booster and master cylinder have you used there? ( if you don't mind me asking )

I had the rear flexible hose blow out on me as I was backing my '60 out of the shed, it was a moment of panic! It was very fortunate that it didn't happen while I was out and about.

SSBC seemed to be the most professional from my research. They do front and rear kits with master cylinders, proportioning valves etc and use your factory spindles so no changes in geometry etc. Scarebird do kits but they involve grinding parts to fit and the caliper brackets don't look to flash...

'59 and '60 Windsor and Saratoga models received the 383RB, slightly shy of 100,000 units IIRC.

Very nice example. I would suspect a partial respray at least as there is overspray visible on the inside panels of the trunk lid. There is wear on the paint on the drivers sill/rocker entry area thou. It would be relatively economical to run with the sloper but personally I think a big machine...

Nice car with a reasonable figure on it.

$800 well spent if you need bumpers, windows, lights, trim etc for your restoration project. Plus the bonus of running gear....

I don't mind the front end but the rest is an aquired taste. Two words - steam punk.
