    Windshield Differences

Does anybody have a list of the NAGS #'s for all the different applications for slab, fusey and formal? It avoids getting jerked around by counter people that think the only glass on the planet is for Honda Civics. If you just give them the NAGS # and don't tell them what it's for, it bypasses...

    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

There used to be a 66 Sport Fury local to me that was buckets, console and column shift. And just to make it more unusual, Slant 6. Kevin

    The 1965 Polara/Monaco/880 thread!!

Is it a Canadian built car? The dash is the dead giveaway. It's the same as the Plymouth Fury. 426 Wedge was an option on US built cars, not sure if it was available in Canada or not. Kevin

    1966 300 Tachometer mount

That clock blank is just held on with a couple of screws from the back. For me I don't think that shape is really suited for a tach and the location even less but if ya gotta have one... A digital one might be an option there tho and you could maybe fab it so it's tilted towards you. Kevin

    8 door Newport

Sold for $1950. Seems like a steal depending on what isn't in the pictures. New Yorker front clip, Newport rear with a 383 would make me wonder what else is going on. Some New Yorker badges in the pics too. If the car was New Yorker based it would have a 440. Cool car in any case. Kevin

    C body plant to close

Maybe they should send their marketing department back to school. If your customer base wants a new Jeep that looks for the most part just like the old one, then sell them one and continue to sell them one and while you're at it, get their friends to buy one. The Jeep Brand is an identity...

To Mod, or Not to Mod, that is the question. What will break at 500hp?

And completely unnecessary for an engine capable of 600+ ft/lbs, 500 of which is available at the cruise RPM of even a 2.76 gear if you put the right cam in it. A 3.23 with 600 ft/lbs in front of it will feel like a 3.91 in a 440. Kevin

To Mod, or Not to Mod, that is the question. What will break at 500hp?

I have a 440Source kit in my 493. Mine is from early days when Brandon was working out of his house. Above and beyond customer service. If I was to spend any time searching for a block, I'd be looking for a 400. Same block with a 4.342 bore vs 4.250 for the 383. 15 cubes extra for free. Kevin

To Mod, or Not to Mod, that is the question. What will break at 500hp?

Put the original engine under the bench. Pick out a 4.25" stroker kit and the best cylinder heads you can afford and a compression ratio compatible with the fuel you're willing to pay for. NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT!!! 400 blocks are becoming scarce but you can use all your existing...

    Wagon doors.

Thanks. As luck would have it, the top of the door above the door handle is where my problem is. Repair by previous owner is coming undone. I was hoping for a bolt on solution but I think this one can be rescued. Kevin

    Factory 4-Speed-C-Body-Photo-Thread

A friend of mine had a Canadian 65 Monaco 413 4spd new. A guy I knew in Saskatchewan had a 65 Monaco convertible 413 4spd new. It got totaled by the second owner. I saw another 65 Monaco 413 4spd rag on a lot in Regina 40+ years ago. Kevin

Fender TAG Polara 1966 - Canadian

    Inherited a 66 polara wagon

If it doesn't need to fit a console you could buy an A or B body repro just to get the part the boot and trim ring bolts to, cut away whatever keeps that part from sitting nice and square over the hole and then practice beating some sheetmetal into submission to close up the gaps. Once it's...
