    correct wipers

those look like the "red dot" style... I am not sure what is "correct" for each year but I think the ones on mine are originals - they are the stainless "peaked" style, and have a single black button in the middle to dismount from the pin connector on the arm. To install, the metal tabs had to...

Finally... Taking my 66 on Route 66!

Great plan. Have a fantastic road trip, I have done it a few times in the last twenty years in old Mopars and a Cadillac. Meteor crater was a good stop.

Which AC compressor. RV2 or Sandon on my 66 New Yorker

This car is a jaw dropper. I can't help with your mechanical challenge on this one but I can offer my appreciation for you keeping that machine in such good order! Great pictures also...especially the dusk pic with the lighting.

    69 300 hubcaps

I have a beautiful set of original hubcaps for my 69 300 vert. After working on car for 2 years finally put or tried to put hubcaps on the car. Wheels appear to be original and I know caps are. Question is that my caps do not go on flush with rim? Is it normal for caps to be about 1/2 to 3/4...

Introducing my new-to-me 1961 Newport.....and everything wrong with it.....erm...so far.

The entire engine, from oil pan to intake, was painted the same red as the car. I have no idea why, and there is evidence it was once a light blue. I can only imagine that when the engine was replaced, they decided to paint the entire thing red - for reasons that escape me, but must have made...

    correct wipers

I ended up getting some what I believe to be period correct NOS Anco's from Ebay. I THINK Trico bought Anco in 2019. I will say, Trico has been less than helpful with this whole situation. It seems like nobody knows what's going on over there. I don't think there is much communication between...

    Big old '48 Crown Imperial

perhaps the CRAZIEST part of all, and a key reason I was intrigued, is the cars history. The car was part of a large collection owned by the Woods family in Portola Valley, CA "near" San Francisco. It was a wealthy family with a spoiled, lazy & rather odd son. The son kept buying cars, about 100...

    How to remove headrests?

All right, I got them on! Sure enough, just a little pull upwards. The driver's side was a little tougher than the passenger. But now I really need to get my upholstery changed. These new headrests are so white they look out of place! So I'm back to searching for seat rubber! and... still...
