Update: Received the rebuild kit from RockAuto today (Edelmann 7899) so I started the tear down. I’m a little worried about the end of the flow control valve where the circlip was jammed. The tip of the valve that was jammed is a little chewed up. Also, in the groove where the circlip sits...

This is a OEM Small Block Oil Pump Intermediate Shaft. It is original out of a 1972 340, not a china knockoff, and is in very good condition. It should work in most any SB Mopar. $40.00. Local pickup, or buyer pays shipping.

Being in Colorado, you could look into Deaver spring. They are somewhere in western CO, thinking grand junction-ish? They have an excellent reputation in the Offroad world and I believe they will make springs for just about anything. Travis..
