Stuck door latches
Annoyingly, I can't get inside the '76 Gran Fury I just pulled out of the junkyard. All 4 doors are stuck as the latch mechanisms are bound up, presumably from sitting untouched the last 25 years. My typical modus operandi would be destructive, but the body is clean enough, I don"t want to hurt...- gtopat

Upper Control Arm Bushings
'76 Gran Fury. Refreshed the front end including the upper control arm bushings. Can't find a specification on how tight the nuts need to be on each end of the pivot bar. Anyone know the proper torque spec? Or just "really tight"? Thanks in advance. -Pat- gtopat

Difference in torsion bars - Small-block vs. Big-block vs. Police
Question for the experts from C-body noobie... I'm putting together a road-race car from a '76 Gran Fury. I got it as a roller, but it was originally a 360 car. Before I dump the 440 into the engine bay, I'm wondering if I should spend the effort to swap out torsion bars while they're easily...- gtopat

Pickup for "933" oil pan
Howdy all, I'm in the process of dropping a motorhome 440 into my '76 Gran Fury. Knowing the RV oil pan wouldn't fit, I picked up a "933" stamped (non-baffled) oil pan, which I understand was for the 400/440s in the late c-bodies. It didn't come with a pickup, and I'm having a hell of a time...- gtopat
