Anyone try selling on a Hemings auction?

I subscribe to the mag, I’ve searched their site online for cars, never thought of them as an ‘auction’ site. Then I tripped over the auction site looking into posting an online ad.

I’ll bet someone here knows where to find...

... a hood pad and cold air intake for my 77 T&C. Not finding much online. These formals can be tough to find parts for for sure.

    While we’re under the hood...

what does everyone do with the defunct Lean Burn ‘bay junk’? I still have the LB unit bolted on to the air cleaner and all the wiring intact. I was thinking of leaving the air cleaner whole for nostalgia, but should I cut out the terminals from the wiring harness? And while everything but the...

Anyone know where this vacuum hose comes from?

This is on my 77 wagon. It is the Water Valve. Cleaning up the engine bay. Heater and AC have been working inspite of this hose being disconnected. FSM says that the line comes from under the dash from a vacuum switch but I can’t find where it passes through the firewall. Can’t find a vac hose...

    Thoughts on cruise control

Of all the old cars I’ve owned, seems like rear window defrost, AC, then cruise are not working (in that order). My 78 NYB is only missing the working rear window defrost. The cruise, miraculously, works. Not only that, under the hood, it has a pile of new parts that appear to be cruise control...

    Steering wheel not centered.

last night I swapped out my really good 78 NYB steering wheel for my not so nice 77 T&C wheel. They fit either car, but on the wagon, the wheel is off about 1/16 to an 1/8 of a turn. The manual said and showed a double space spline on the steering shaft to center the wheel. I thought I hit it...

The world is now a better place - a new formal hits the road

brought back from the brink of obscurity, for the next few miles, this might be the nicest 77 T&C on the planet! I took it apart about this time last year. Finished reassembly yesterday. Many of you on here helped me out and for that you get unqualified ‘thank you very much’ and a sincere...

I have what looks like 2 high beam switches?

One appears to clearly be the high beams. The other? No idea. Looks stock. Appears to be on or off. Not a switch. Has one wire wire leading up under the dash

Brake not releasing on 78 NYB...

...does anyone know if I can reach up and re attach vacuum line or am I pulling the dash? Your answer determines how I spend my Sunday! Thanks in advance to anyone who might know the answer.

    Tricks to hood alignment?

The hood is on and painted. Straight down the fender line. Pretty square across the front. Flat to the fenders but a tad high back at the driver corner. Problem is driver side is almost touching the fender and the pass side is about 3/8". The latch is catching as a result and doesn't pop open...

Through my first tank of gas in my new 78 NYB

So far so good. Idles a little high when cold. The ATII works. AC and heat. The cruise control works! I haven't had a car more than 20 years where it still worked. The ride is incredible. Makes the worst roads in town seem like they were just repaved. It is tight and super quiet inside. Here...

    What car do I take?

I have read a number of threads here where people pick up a car then drive it home cross country. I mean, you buy a 40 yr old car and drive it 2,000 miles home? So here is my issue. I am taking a winter car from Buffalo to Jacksonville in a couple weeks. 1600 miles? I can use a car down there...
