I've got the steering out of my 1970 Polara and would like to replace the rubber couplings in the column, are they the same as B bodies? or breed specific? Also where from?

the steering motor (not the pump)on my 1970 Polara needs an overhaul, weeping from shafts and generaly lazy,question is, should I boldly go and do it myself or get a recon? I'm told setting them up can be 'interesting'. Are there different types? I notice there are different seal kits...

On the 70 Polara, with weight off the front suspension (i.e. hanging) should the front brake flexy be tight ? the new hose is the same length as the old but the tester didn't like it and nearly failed the car because of it.

when I first got the 70 Polara the brakes were nasty,lot of pedal travel then everything happened..so I have just had the whole system replaced, new cylinders all round,including master, new linings and flexies. now the pedal travel is nice and firm but braking action is lacking, on a test rig...

any idea what the ride height is for a 1970 Polara, mine looks a bit down at the rear, origanal springs fitted, and they look a bit flat. I've got 27"front & 23" rear, measured through the wheel centers to the lip of the wheel arch, I had a look in the manual and can't find a base setting

I need to replace the brake booster on my 70 Polara,as far as I can tell it still has an original unit fitted(pedal goes half way to the floor then every thing locks up, plenty of vacuum at unit,pedal doesn't move when engine starts). I've been on Rock Auto and the units listed for the car have...
