    Adjusting Self-Adjusters

What is the proper adjustment for the self-adjusters? I’ve read 9 “turns” but is that 9 turns of 360 degrees (full turns)? Or? But if you do not have new brakes, just replaced the adjusters, then how do you know they are in the proper position?

Rear Metal Brake Line Size for 1968 Newport

While trying to bleed my rear drum brakes, the driver's side bleed valve sheered off at the brake cylinder. While frustrating, that was okay, because I have a new wheel cylinder. In trying to loosen the brake line off the wheel cylinder, though, that line sheered off ... Despite Deep Creep...

    Idler and Pitman Arms

My steering is not as tight and responsive as I would like it to be. From what I have read replacing the idler/pitman arms can help. What brands are good/no good?

Front Brake Drum Won’t Pull Off

As the title says. The driver’s side slid off nice and easy to inspect the brakes on my 1968 Newport, but the passenger side is stuck on mighty good! Is there anything to be wary of when using a puller? (Besides damaging the spindle end the centre of the puller will be up against (well, it...
