Absolutely great car, over half a million miles, even better. Love the pic behind the steering wheel going down the road... keep on rolling...

Nice car! Great to see a one owner that was never given up on. I had done work for a Cadillac owner who kept every caddy he had bought new and he kept them all functional in great condition in a warehouse he owned for secure media (paper files) storage. He had large pallet racks with shrink wrapped boxes on pallets for businesses that had to retain records for so many years before shredding took place. He stored his cars under the racks out of the way.

Thanks a lot. As far as I know I am the second owner. I was a young guy when I bought the car and at the time I never thought much about the history of the car. By the time I really got interested in that sort of thing the seller had moved on. I don't have his name anymore but I have a idea where he may be threw the mopar grape vine. Its a car you don't see every day so when someone says my uncle Bob used to own one of those I will ask if uncle Bob is still around and can I talk to him.

Positively "STUNNING" !!!!!!!! :thumbsup::steering::thumbsup:

That one really sets an extremely high bar to try and match as far as looks for another 1969 Sport Fury Vert to match that's for damn sure. ......

Thanks. I injoy working on and driving the car. It's not a car many people have ever seen. The most common thing I hear is look at the size of that car or they they sure don't make them like that anymore it's a piece of art. That's when it's all worth while for sure. To me it's the car I've owned since I was 20 years old.

Re-admiring your car again, every time I revisit I see some new detail. This past summer I've had no end of over heating problems with my vert. It has a 22"rad that has been re-cored, but I suspect the replacement core is not as efficient as the stock Mopar. Anyways I'm thinking, shroud or re-core or new aluminium or some combination of. My questions, your aluminium rad looks pretty good, any problems getting it to fit, does it have the tranny cooling deal at the bottom, how well does it cool, are you happy with it and where did you buy it?

I can sit in city traffic jam in August for an hour and it will not heat up. The aluminum Rad was given to me new by a Mopar friend so I don't know The cost. The fan is a flex a lite that has its own thermostat controls and shroud. I have the fan set to turn on at the same time as my 185 thermostat opens. It fit perfectly. It is the best investment I made for my car and my blood pressure lol

I have had it for 5 trouble-free years. I have verified all temperatures with the hand held infrared Thermometer I highly recommend the Electric fan and the aluminum rad. Mine is a 22 inch as well.
