Hello all, I am a new member to the club of c body owners. I have a 71 chrysler newport royal, the CE23K1C152299 which has been mentioned and tossed around this forum from time to time, I can say I am the proud owner of. As I am a younger member and a younger classic car owner, any info on parts or maintenance or any advice would be appreciated. If you just want to talk about our c bodies, just drop me a message.

Welcome aboard from :canada:. It would be great if you could post updates as you work of the car with pics. At that time throw out your questions and there are a lot of knowledgeable members here willing to offer advice.

Hello from Minnesota. Nice to see another young member join the site.

Welcome from NYC. You're in the right place to learn ALL you'll need and want to know about you new Classic. Post PLENTY of pics as well.

Here is the car, if you genuinely want me to prove it’s numbers matching with the vin I will but I bought it from the gentleman who was selling it in mass and in Florida, he was nearing retirement age and took this car every winter with him down to Florida… let’s just say he wasn’t the most kind to the car as it NEEDS BODY WORK

That's a nice looking car.

As the b-52s once said “got me a Chrysler it’s as big as a whale and it’s about to set sail” hell there’s was even blue like mine. It’s the one line everyone quotes when they see the car

Thank you. I’m glad it’s my first car, I bought it without my mother knowing, she was pissed
LMAO.. that’s so funny, I did the same thing 45 yrs ago. My dad was so pissed he wouldn’t let me park it at the house, I had to park at my girlfriend house. LOL

Congrats on your new find, and welcome to the group. I always advise newer/younger owners that driving a vintage car is like going dancing with a beautiful, but MUCH older woman. Enjoy the ride, but handle with reverence, and most importantly, don't try all the same moves you'd do with a younger partner until you know her VERY well (let's leave it at that.......) Great to see these photos of a happy new owner. ENJOY.
